Our Board
Genny Winter is a Manager for the Expatriate services at Shell Oil. She has a child with learning issues and is constantly seeking the best education for her child. She has joined our Board of Trustees as a parent to ensure the quality of the program for the city of Houston’s children.
Lori Teller is a local Veterinarian. She has a child with learning disabilities and is interested in developing a program to serve children for high school. She has joined our Board with the goal of developing a high school for children with social and pragmatic difficulties.
Shara Bumgarner is Head and Founder of The Joy School. She has spent her entire adult life providing a nurturing yet rigorous academic environment for students with learning issues. She has joined the Board because she recognizes the need for a high school program dedicated to serving children with social and pragmatic issues.
Geoff Bracken is a trial attorney in Houston Texas whose practice emphasizes commercial, construction, copyright infringement and personal injury litigation. He and his wife, Shelley, have worked with professionals nationwide and are dedicated to the idea that, with proper guidance, every student can attain goals that surpass expectations.
Rena Koinis is a reservoir engineering advisor for Shell Exploration and Production. She is the parent of a child with a learning disability and has seen the miracles that can be achieved with the proper educational setting. She has joined our Board to help continue the development of a high school environment where children with social and pragmatic issues can reach their full potential.
