Andrew Grimes, BFA - Director of Digital Marketing & Graphic Design

Andrew Grimes has been teaching art to children and adults with learning differences since 2009. He began his professional career in The Arc of the Capital Area in Austin, where he served as an art instructor and later advanced to Lead Art Instructor, helping shape and expand the organization’s visual arts programming.

In 2016, Andrew joined The Gateway Academy, where he leads and manages the school’s brand presence. He oversees social media strategy, print collateral, and video development, and collaborates closely with internal teams on materials supporting event production to ensure a cohesive and compelling visual identity across all platforms. With a multidisciplinary approach to storytelling, Andrew curates and produces media that reflects the school’s mission, culture, and impact.

Outside of his professional work, Andrew prioritizes time with his family and enjoys playing board games. On an ideal day, both.
