A Gateway in, A Gateway Out

Welcome Prospective Parent!

Whatever purpose has brought you to our school, we are here to support you in the process. If you have sought out a specialty school, you have likely experienced events that may make you and your student feel overwhelmed and confused. We would like to hear your story.

When you schedule a tour, we will have an opportunity to listen and learn about your student’s story and the particular academic and social needs of your child. At the same time, it will give us an opportunity to share our story with you and to introduce you to our many passionate teachers and the special way in which Gateway develops relationships with and educates our students based on our years of experience. As you walk our halls, it will allow you to observe teacher-to-student and student-to-student interactions for yourself and perhaps envision your student in this environment.

Parents that wish to continue can then submit an application.  We will be happy to help you through the application process and answer any questions you may have. 

After the application is complete, prospective students are invited to shadow a current student and experience Gateway for themselves. During this process, it generally becomes clear to the student, the family, and the school whether Gateway will be the right fit.

Our mission at Gateway is to not only educate the whole student through our innovative approaches to learning, physical fitness, and social awareness but to also support the family. We look forward to meeting you and your family and supporting you as you pursue finding the best program for your student. Our hope is that you will choose to schedule a campus tour, and we may share our passion and programming for students with you.
