As the Registrar and Records Coordinator at Gateway Academy, Mrs. TenBrook is responsible for creating student records and maintaining their accuracy. Her duties also include being the administrator for our database system where she is in charge of setting up class schedules, calculating and running report cards, transcripts and other reports.

Carol TenBrook started at Gateway in 2008 where her credentials as a STEM Specialist provided her the opportunity to teach science and math to middle school and high school students with learning differences. Ready to embrace a new challenge in her career resulted in her current position as the Records Coordinator.

As a long time teacher at Gateway, Mrs. TenBrook has really come to know our family of students, parents and staff very well. Her organizational and problem solving skills in the classroom transferred easily to her new position. Though she’s not in the classroom, she still enjoys interacting with our families and staff each and every day!

Outside of school, Carol is an observer of nature, and loves the mathematics, science and beauty of the world around her. Taking photographs and painting watercolor pictures are her creative outlets to express what she sees and experiences.
