Michelle Erwin is the Director of Transition at the Gateway Academy. She graduated from Texas A&M in 2013 with a focus in Special Education and in 2021, earned her Master's Degree in Transition from the University of Kansas.

Michelle began her teaching career in Cypress in 2013, teaching middle school and 18+ programming. Since the beginning of her career, she has been dedicated to empowering and supporting students with learning and social challenges in their transition into adulthood. Her expertise and passion for preparing students for life after high school has provided our Gateway students with the foundation of success.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Millie. She also enjoys traveling and running marathons.
