Monica Heller, BA - Learning Specialist

As a mother of two children with disabilities and learning differences, Monica Heller is wholeheartedly dedicated to uplifting neurodiverse learners and their families. She has a deep passion for reading, writing, and effective communication. She uses that love to inspire her high school classes. Monica provides her students with tools to hone their practical literacy, life skills, and critical thinking habits necessary for success in various transition paths. She is committed to fostering holistic growth, interweaving social-emotional learning practices in her instructional content to help high school students develop strategies to lead fulfilling lives as young adults with learning differences.

Monica has a bachelor's degree of arts in Drama/Speech, ELAR 6-12 teacher certification, and 200YTT yoga instructor certification. Previously, she taught job readiness and preparedness skills to adults seeking second-chance employment.
