Nam is the Dean of Students and has been in special education since 2006. He is a graduate from the University of St. Thomas, having obtained both his B.A. in Psychology and his M.Ed in Educational Leadership there. During his time in the field of Education, he has been a Special Education teacher in both a private and public school setting, department chair, and behavior specialist. 

Nam provides individualized support and structure to Gateway students so that they can thrive in a classroom setting. Within his role, Nam is a compassionate and dedicated advocate for students. His top priority is the safety and success of all the Gateway students. He is also the head coach for the Gateway High School basketball team. Go Gryphons!!!

In his spare time, Nam enjoys being surrounded by family and friends, playing basketball, taking in plays and musicals, and searching for new restaurants to try. He loves being a part of the Gateway community and is inspired every day by the students and faculty!
