As the Dean of Instructional Technology and Culinary Arts for Gateway Academy, Mrs. Hoyer provides training to staff and students for general technology, as well as assistive technology needs. Additionally, she coordinates our Culinary program which includes basic culinary skills and our culinary internship program. Sue has been part of the Gateway Academy staff since 2017, and a special education teacher since 2002. Her goal is to equip students with practical skills and valuable knowledge to excel in the workforce.

Mrs. Hoyer enjoys presenting in the areas of transition and technology, with a special emphasis on convincing schools and families to actively teach Digital Citizenship. Please reach out if you’d like Sue to present to your organization!
