Mrs. Silva has been a learning specialist at The Gateway Academy since 2012. She has extensive experience working in small groups and one-on-one with students with autism, dyslexia, AD/HD, and other special needs. She feels lucky to be able to combine her love of reading and writing with her passion for teaching to provide students with a unique learning experience. Stephanie’s years of experience ensure that she is able to meet each students' diverse needs. Mrs. Silva loves seeing her students excel, not just in their reading and writing, but also in their confidence and social interactions.

As a yearbook advisor, Stephanie is committed to guiding students through the process of creating a lasting memory of their school experiences. From selecting themes and layouts to collecting content and editing pages, she loves the creative and collaborative process that results in a way for students to remember each school year.
