TECHNOLOGY

Aligned with our vision to wholly prepare our students for life of independence, we utilized a wide variety of technology for classroom instruction and at-home learning. We believe our work is to support our students in navigating the digital world. All Gateway students utilize school-owned iPads monitored through a centralized device management system. Further, we have designed an in-house technology use system that is adjusted to reflect the student’s grade-level and ability to independently use technology effectively. Our system allows students to have varied access to the internet and technology based on their maturity, ability to self-regulate, and complete work without distractions.  Preparing students to be successful, contributing members of their community means we must create web responsible digital citizens.
